    A great piece, I didn't expect to read that in The Guardian. Their discussion of Hamilton, both the musical and the person, is right on target when you add to it the included link to Matt Stroller's "The Hamilton Hustle" [1].

    BTW, there's nothing there about scary girls "harmful to our boys" mentioned by the ridiculous first comment. There are some references to race issues, discussed from the usual leftist position but that doesn't distract from the main point... it's worth a read.

    Perhaps. But America's obsession with promoting girls and the interests of girls is harmful to our boys. Let's not be picking winners amongst our own young people. Not based on race, not based on sex.

    All I can say is that a) I saw The Social Network and thought it dumb, b) I read Zadie Smith's piece on it and thought it pointless.
