This is the wrong target in my opinion. The Republican 50 year quest to turn America into Ferenginar is to blame. When 1 of the 2 parties does what it can to discredit government and oversight of businesses we get the shit we got today. Too many Americans don’t believe in government and don’t understand what it means to be a society. A generation or two of this nonsense and we’ll, hopefully, revert back to the mean and have citizens who believe that good governance can improve peoples’ lives.
