    Though I can certainly draw some parallels between Tinder and the job market. The supply and demand issues, the ghosting after a date/interview, people selling themselves well above their actual value… it’s all there. Awful for everybody, I guess.

    I don’t know why but for a moment I thought this was about switching jobs among two strangers. Say, I advertise “Senior Software engineer at company X, team Y, salary Z, wishes to switch to a similar position and compensation in another company”. So, if you match the requirements more or less, you swipe right (or left, not sure which one is the “let’s do it”). Then candidates would chat via their company email at first (to confirm they actually work there). Their respective manager would then approve the move without interviewing them at all.

    Crazy, eh?

    Must be one of the most common executed startups. Must have been at least 1000 tinder for jobs launched last 10 years.
