    This is very old news, but I'm glad the word is getting out. Firefox is an ad-tech company now and should be avoided.

    I transitioned to Waterfox. It has a couple issues such as being unable to login to my banking services and getting Youtube to sign into Google's SSO but I hope to resolve at a later time. Be prepared to reconfigure all your extensions again though..

    Lots of expletives in the article, but the TL;DR:

    Mozilla bought an ad-tracking company run by ex-Meta executives and Mozilla is selling your browsing activity in Firefox "privately" to advertisers.

    Mozilla has given up on privacy.
