If Trump actually cares about bringing manufacturing back and national security, I can see few opportunities as important as domestic semiconductor fabs. Our military relies on them, our economy relies on them, and everyday households rely on them. We’re wholly dependent on this foundational technology, and we’re wholly dependent on supplies from other nations, some of which are at risk of being annexed by unfriendly countries.
