You probably know this already but one on one uninterrupted attention, interaction and play are at the very top of the list. Along with consistent calm attitude toward their curiosity, impulse for exploration, their developing sense of self, and expression of their emotions and feelings.
A toddler growing up with a sense of confidence, trust and belonging has lifelong advantages in all areas of life.

Magna-tiles are great. A very tactile building toy, accessible and safe for younger kids (ie no small parts / choking hazards).
