Do you have tough time to land a job even from the startups? https://news.ycombinator.com/jobs
Do you have any other constraints such as visa or work permits?

Try to get an internship.
This is my first post here so I apologize if this is deemed a low quality post, breaking rules, etc..
Anyways:
I recently graduated university getting my CS degree and I am having a brutal time finding a job. We've all heard the story and I understand theres plenty of people in the exact same position I am.
I know the market is terrible, and I'm not necessarily in a unique position but at this point I am not sure what to do. I'm a bit afraid I will be stuck in the exact same spot, prior to starting university with nothing to show for it. I would love to get experience working a SWE job.
My days consist of constant leetcode grind, applying to jobs, and building side projects (although less now since leetcode has been consuming my time).
I feel like if I invested all this time into building real software/products instead of mindless leetcode grind I would have things much more impressive to show for.
The reason I'm posting this on HN is because entrepreneurship/building a business has always been the main goal of mine, beyond getting a nice job.
I would love to go all in on building my own software to provide for myself, but as an unemployed new grad, I feel I don't have the SWE experience nor the income to invest into my ideas.
Can anyone provide some wisdom and guidance on my situation? Or if anyone is also in the same position as me, i'd love to hear your thoughts too.
Thanks for reading and for any replies :^)
