The cost of renewing my .com domain is coming in at $52 for one year

    I wanted to renew some domains with Gandi yesterday, and noticed that their prices increased a lot this year. This Reddit post is the only article I could find about it.

    .com/.net/.org/.dev are all around $40/year to renew now, up from about $25 six months ago.

    Cheapest .com renewal is $9.49 (at cosmotown.com). I think for domain registrations/renewals you should just always go for the cheapest one (of course making sure it's not a scam and there is some basic customer service).
