On July 11th, 2024, we experienced a RAID controller failure on a storage node housing some customer Snapshot Images in the LON1 region, resulting in a loss of Snapshot Images data on this node. Our Engineering team has attempted to restore all affected Images; however, after extensive efforts, we have determined that some of your Snapshot Images are unrecoverable, and we have listed these at the bottom of this message.
We value the security of your data and recognize the impact of this issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration, and we are extending a credit equal to 3x the monthly cost of the Snapshot Images associated with the Droplet IP/name listed below. This credit will be reflected on your account’s August invoice.
