Tell Android UX designers: Stop suggesting to "Call my mom"

People aren't opting in to randomly getting reminded of their deceased parents when they're buying your phone.

I get that you're trying to increase adoption of the voice dialling feature, for whatever reason. Maybe fetch the most dialled contact from the recently called list?

    I don't use stock Android. What's the context here? A popup for the call dialer application? A setup step? Is it related to Mother's Day in the US?

    Just like those web stores that send those reminders around mothers or fathers day. Luckily some let you opt out
