Existing Affinity users will be able to continue to use your apps in perpetuity as they were originally purchased – with plenty of free updates to V2 still to look forward to!
So, based on 100% of these deals turning these kinds of things into SaaS, it’s fair to assume v3 is going to be subscription based, right?

The comments on the announcement video to YouTube subscribers of Serif's channel[1] are unanimously negative. A number of commenters refer to CEO Ashley Hewson's body language, which can be interpreted as less than happy.
