Not a site, but Envisioning Information by Edward Tufte is a great book to get inspired by
I am on the hunt for some inspiration on new and creative ways to display datasets. What is your favourite site that displays data in a fun way?
Ideally:
- creative: displaying data in unconventional ways
-natural: the flow of the data seems natural and the additional elements arent just an add on but a part of the data experience itself.
-fun: graphic design and animations are always fun
- interactive: Is the data a pick-your-own adventure story or a linear experience?
Hoping to see what others have built and come across. Cheers.
