In the past, I've come across companies that focus on recruiting exceptional individuals without predetermined positions in mind.

Is this still happening? Are there any notable companies that have adopted this approach in the past few months?

    Build a reputation for yourself at conferences, etc. and companies will be hiring you, not a role.
