Pro-tip: use `ChatGPT Classic` [0] from OpenAI to restore the quality you were used to before the update.
The 'all-tools' version of ChatGPT uses a staggeringly-long system prompt [1], which seems to result in significantly lower quality for me. Perhaps it should be called the 'master-of-none' version?

Yes. And I'm confused why others are not shouting about this more loudly. Far too slow and too many "network errors".

Same issue here. Very slow and unreliable.

Interesting; it’s been faster than ever for me in the gpt4 settings. I have been making custom gpts and using them since available all day; haven’t noticed this. Must be just a coincidence.

It’s not due to the update but I find it’s searching Bing in like 95% of my use cases. If I wanted to search Bing and find the answer, I would have done so myself

No, I've been using it via ChatGPT and minor API calls every day, throughout the day. It's slow but perfectly usable. I am on the US West Coast.

When was the latest update? I've definitely noticed a trend of increased failures/errors over the past couple weeks.

Are you noticing this with the API too? I’ve observed inconsistencies in response time via API (v4-T)

Same. It is kinda sad it becoming a more stupid tool by the day, losing its value

Same here
Has anyone else noticed this?
