Ask HN: How find my way and switch to a IT job?

So HN community, I would like to ask you, how can I try a job change to the IT area? What should I put in my CV and how? Which programming roles I would be able to achieve with my skills?

    Have you considered starting out with IT work for other lawyers? Then you can make good use of both skillsets. I'd imagine a lawyer is going to be more open to paying a fellow lawyer for some IT help to improve or automate their work than a random programmer. But you'll have to pitch them and sell them on it.
