    I’m doing something similar. The best non AI solution I found was to use upwork to generate this. It’s fairly cheap and fast and you can avoid talking to an architect while you iterate on your ideas. The output was in Sketchup 3d. Apparently this program has a python it ruby api and you can programmatically generate things.

    if you're happy with something a little less AI and a little more retro in UX, the freeware Sweethome 3D will let you draw and redraw walls/partitions/doors to precise dimensions as much as you like and then fill with furniture to the arrangements you like

    Most of the apps I've found so far are just how to stage an existing room, not change the actual room layouts themselves as well.
