    This appears to be US-only. Can anyone point toward an equivalent for other parts of the world?

    They use SpeedSmart.net as their suggested Speedtest software, which is available on iOS, Android, and now also on the web. Interestingly, SpeedSmart includes both "ping" tests for latency to popular sites, as well as bandwidth testing. And you can set up automated testing to occur every so often, for a number of times.
