I had a similar problem trying to get my address added to Google Maps and other platforms! I live in the US, and the post office changed my address (new number and street name) when a new road was cut in near my house. It was incredibly frustrating!
I tried on and off for weeks submitting reports, which were all closed or ignored. I figured out that if you create a business, Google will let you put in the address of the business and drop a pin on the map where the business is. They do not verify if the street address was previously in their database. So I created a fake business on Google and gave it my home address, and dropped a pin on my house. It showed up on the map within hours. Kind of hacky, but problem solved.
Good luck!
The road on which our house in rural France sits finally got a name two years ago.
But still no-one can find us because Google Maps hasn't added it. UPS delivers parcels to an access point 10km away, and doesn't tell us. Other couriers leave our parcels randomly at a similarly named street hundreds of yards away.
I've submitted the name through the Android app multiple times, including attaching a geotagged photo of the street sign, but no dice. My addition of the name for an adjacent street that was also missing was accepted within 24 hours, first attempt.
I've submitted the new name to OpenStreetMap successfully. Is there anything else I can do? And why are they incapable of correctly evaluating contributions that match up with the official cadastral map?
