Ask HN: How did you advertise your AppSumo campaign?

We just debuted on AppSumo(https://appsumo.com/marketplace-formcake/), but found out to our surprise we need to get a certain number of reviews / metrics before we'll be promoted more.

Any other bootstrappers have advice on how they kickstarted their AppSumo campaign?
