The state of JavaScript at the end of 2020

JS has changed a lot since last 10 years. Form an ugly, younger brother of C++ to fully featured, mature language driving the internet. I like the direction it evolves now with supersets like TypeScript and types control.

Every day brings us a new JS framework. Is this still true at the end of 2020?
